QuarkChain ICO is aimed to increase the number of transactions processed per second. At the moment blockchain provides 2000 tps (transactions per second). This is much more than other blockchains can provide at the moment.
QuarkChain implements fragmentation of blocks for p2p (peer-to-peer) of the transactional system. The system consists of two principal layers – the level of fragmentation which allows the system to receive high processing speed because of the effective distribution of data and the root layer for blocks confirmation.
QuarkChain ICO wants to create a compromise solution for blockchains: decentralization, safety, and scalability. In plain words, QuarkChain ICO is up to carry up transactions that are taking place now in other blockchains. It will allow the cryptocurrency exchange market to grow much quicker.
Safety and scalability can be reached simultaneously, especially when business comes to the blockchain technology. QuarkChain made the decision which equilibrates both of these needs by a division of two basic functions of a chain into separate layers.
Tokens issued for ICO are called QKC and will be released in the ERC-20 format and distributed on Ethereum blockchain. After a start of the main net and ICO in Q4 2018, ERC-20 tokens will be transformed to a QKC and will begin to be used as a currency to execute transactions.
QuarkChain will support smart contracts on the Ethereum virtual machine (EVM) to guarantee the forthcoming compatibility with the available dApps that will be promoted to increase scalability.
