Neon Exchange is one of the pioneer ICO projects poses platform providing decentralized cryptocurrency trade. It was launched by the creators of CitiOfZeon – open source community NEO. In contrast to the majority of similar markets, it uses “chain off relay” that is not clogging up the network. Thanks to that the whole system works much quicker, while the exchange process uses the technology of decentralized data-bases and provides full protection of participants’ information.

Peculiar properties of Neon Exchange:

cross-chain exchange between NEO and Ethereum;

possibility to use third-party smart-contracts on NEO;

Neon Exchange users will store the private keys in a web browser extension. This simple solution will reach 2 goals:

Neon Exchange platform will provide the following features:

Currency of ICO - NEX issued have no distinctive use (except ICO itself), but their holders will be granted a certain part of Neo Exchange platform’s income that will be formed from the transactions fees. To receive the payouts, users should participate in the ICO and stack tokens in the NEX wallet.

Open source framework and template for interaction with NEX banking partner APIs. Announcement of partnerships.

Participation for lottery winners in the NEX token sale. Matching engine launch on NEO TestNet, along with v1 of exchange APIs for testing with our liquidity creation partners (e.g., trading bots). Trading interface launch on NEO TestNet: usability research and information gathering from alpha testers. NEX web extension support for ETH and ERC20 tokens. Buy and sell NEO, GAS, and RPX through banking partners. Release of v1 of web extension dApp APIs, for integration on client websites and smart contracts on ETH and NEO (e.g., APIs that allow websites to interact with smart contracts, or request payments in NEO or ETH or constituent tokens from a user).

Beginning of trading operations: Matching engine and trading user interface launched on MainNet with support for NEO, ETH, NEP5, and ERC20 tokens. Cross-chain token conversion support in NEX extension wallet. Launch of staking contract on NEO for holders of NEX to receive exchange revenue.

Advanced trading features. Cross-chain support for trading BTC, LTC, and RPX on NEX. Launch of cross-chain cryptocurrency index fund, supported by the exchange and extension.

The NEX token does not have a direct destination. Token holders will receive commissions. Nevertheless, the holders will not have the right to share the commissions, received as a result of the NEX exchange. In our opinion, a disadvantage is the fact that the market already has decentralized exchanges with working products. We hope that the NEX team will be able to compete with them.
